Gerry has been volunteering in Harrow since 1972. He is chair of Harrow Community Transport, trustee of North Harrow Community Library, member of Headstone South Safer Neighbourhoods Panel, works with Harrow Recreation Ground Users and Headstone Neighbours and deputy Churchwarden at St. Alban’s church.

I have been involved in the management and leadership of Migrant organizations in the Netherlands and United Kingdom. My different experience in crisis situations and humanitarian programs have strengthened my understanding and grasp of the complexities of social issues at local and national levels.

I moved to Harrow in 1969, and have been a volunteer and Trustee of several Charities. I strongly believe that voluntary organisations can dramatically improve their effectiveness by working in partnership and sharing their resources.
